It’s typical at conventions for attendees to take pictures of cosplays or for cosplayers to request photos of their costumes. Finding suitable places for photography used to be difficult, and photography often took place in the corridors. Nowadays, many conventions have a separate photography spot where you can have your picture taken by a photographer. For many cosplayers, this is a great opportunity to get a high quality picture of their costume. Outside of the photography spots, cosplayers may hold their own photoshoot sessions at the convention area and sometimes outside if a suitable environment is found. Nearby forests, lake shores, or old buildings sometimes provide excellent settings for photography.
