Game Week 1.-10.11.2024
Game on! Museum Leikki’s Game Week is celebrated from Fri 1st November to Sun 10th November 2024 and there program is for all age. This year the theme is Japanese Games. For example, you can meet Pikachu, shop retro games, build game characters from LEGOs, and play Japanese games in the game room. Note that there is a separate entrance ticket to the game room.
Programme:
EVERY DAY
Game room (open: Tue 12:00-4:45 pm, Wed, Thu and Fri 2- 6:45pm and Sat and Sun from 10am to 4:45pm)
In the game room of Museo Leikki, you can enjoy legendary Japanese console and arcade games. The following games will be available: Taiko, Pump It Up!, Street Fighter, and Hatsune Miku arcade games as well as Nintendo, Sega and Game Boy Advanced consoles. Entrance fee to the game room is €4/person, children under 5 years are free. The entrance fee to the game room entitles you to 2 hours of playing time, and does not require the purchase of a museum admission ticket.
Game delicacy workshop (2pm-4pm)
What does a game character taste like? In Museo Leikki’s wonderfully sweet workshop, you can shape a game character from sugar paste. Sweet materials for the workshop will be provided by Dr. Oetker.
Take pictures with Pikachu (Tues-Fri 5-5:30pm and Sat-Sun 11-11:30am)
Pika! Pika! Come say hello to sweet Pikachu and immortalize your moment with the yellow idol.
Lego construction shop for game characters (non-stop during museum opening hours)
Do you like fast Sonic or electric Pikachu? Come and build your favorite game character from Lego blocks!
Pokémon scavange hunt (non-stop during museum opening hours)
I’m gonna catch Pokémon! Pokémon characters have hidden in Museo Leikki! Take part in the scavange hunt and catch all the hidden Pokémon.

Retro Game pop-up shop (Sat 9th and Sun 10th from 11am to 4pm)
Discover game collector’s treasures and make nostalgic purchases! For sale, e.g. Nintendo, Wii and Game&Watch games as well as nostalgic board games.
Changes to the program are possible. With the exception of the game room, the program is included in the price of the museum’s admission ticket.
